… to help raptors in distress:

We offer a free service to Bay Area animal control agencies, wildlife rehabilitation centers, businesses, residents, and the public in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara Counties who report a raptor (hawk, falcon, owl, etc.) in distress. We provide expert help in capturing, assessing, and releasing such birds on site, or transporting those that need professional veterinary care to a nearby licensed rehabilitation facility.

We have decades of training and experience, and the proper equipment for the safe and humane trapping of birds of prey. We operate under permit and in complete compliance with applicable laws as administered by the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.

We have worked with San Francisco Animal Care and Control, Oakland Animal Services, Wildlife Emergency Services, and many Bay Area businesses including Lucky Stores (San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose), The Sports Basement (San Francisco), Smart and Final (Oakland), Glassy Babies (Berkeley), and several law enforcement agencies, and the owners of parking structures, auto repair garages and warehouses. References available upon request.

Please phone, message, text, or email us immediately if you know of a raptor in distress. The sooner we can help the bird, the better the outcome.

Our FAQ page has suggestions of what to do until expert help arrives if you find a bird of prey trapped inside your building or otherwise incapacitated.
