Our work is entirely self-funded, at no charge to those who contact us. Our operating costs include government-issued permit fees, fuel, bridge tolls, website and domain fees, specialized trapping equipment, etc., and now with the HPAI (“bird flu”) epidemic, which has a near 100% mortality in raptors, we employ one-time use animal carriers, disposable gloves, masks, shoe coverings, exam gowns, and special disinfectants to curb its transmission.
BY CHECK: remit to Bay Raptor Rescue, 201 Amber Dr, San Francisco, CA 94131
Contributors of $25 or more who provide a mailing address will receive by return mail our embroidered patch, shown below, which looks great on hats, backpacks, and shirts.
Non-financial support is also appreciated — please let others know about our work and availability to rescue raptors in distress throughout the Bay Area.
